AI Use Notice
The Study Concept includes AI-assisted features, including LYNE, chat, summaries, explanations, note generation, flashcard generation, practice questions, document support, OCR, transcription, image generation, and text-to-speech. This notice explains important limits that apply to those features.
1. AI Output May Be Incorrect
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, misleading, or fabricated. Output can sound confident even when it is wrong. You should verify important information against the original source material, teacher instructions, official course materials, or another reliable source.
2. Educational Use Only
AI features are provided for study support, organization, drafting, explanation, and practice. They are not a substitute for a teacher, tutor, school administrator, lawyer, doctor, therapist, accountant, or other qualified professional. Do not rely on AI output for emergency, medical, legal, financial, safety, or other high-stakes decisions.
3. Student Responsibility and Academic Integrity
- You are responsible for how you use AI output in homework, assignments, projects, tests, and communications.
- You must follow your teacher's instructions, your school's academic integrity rules, and any exam-board or course rules.
- You should disclose AI assistance when disclosure is required by your teacher, school, assignment, or law.
- You must not use AI features to cheat, fabricate sources, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your work.
4. Uploaded Content and Third-Party Processing
When you use AI features, prompts, selected text, study materials, uploaded files, images, audio, transcripts, and related context may be processed by third-party AI or infrastructure providers. Do not upload confidential, highly sensitive, or restricted material unless you have permission and the feature is appropriate for that use.
5. Human Review Required
- Review generated notes, cards, quizzes, summaries, transcripts, citations, and explanations before using or sharing them.
- Check formulas, dates, quotations, translations, and source references carefully.
- Use AI output as a starting point, not final proof that something is correct.
6. Prohibited AI Use
- Generating unlawful, harmful, harassing, exploitative, deceptive, or discriminatory material.
- Uploading or processing content you do not have the right to use.
- Bypassing school rules, plagiarism rules, content filters, security controls, or access restrictions.
- Using AI output without review where errors could cause serious harm.
